Transformation of Adjective To Nouns
Frankly, "Due to" hardly appears in lower primary levels tests, but if you have a child in Tao Nan primary school, you will notice that this is a must-know question for P3 tests. For the past two years at least, this question type came out for SA1 and SA2.
First of all, this question involves the changing of the Adjective into a Noun. The child needs to identify the adjective in the sentence first. So, what is an adjective? It is a word that describes a noun to make it more specific. For example, a pretty girl, a fierce dog and etc.
What's next? The child will have to transform the adjective into a noun. For the P3s, I guess they can start off by learning the transformation of common adjectives into nouns.
